Welcome to our shop, here at Gems by Em Perth we have an ever changing display of rocks and crystals mostly sourced from Australia. The following photos are just an example of what we have in our stocks. Although we may not have this exact rock or crystal, we are continually updating our supplies, so its always worth dropping by to check it out.

AMETHYST: A wide range of shapes and sizes available. Colours range from light purple to deep dark purple. Amethyst is the birthstone of Aquarious, associated with the month of February. It is a Hexagonal crystal system.

AGATE:
We have an ever changing supply of Australian sourced agate in a very wide range of shapes, sizes, colours. Spheres, flat slices, even heart shaped. We also have agate eggs the lucky dip from nature, cut it open to reveal the gemstone inside. Agate is a quartz crystal with a trigonal crystal system.

AMMONITE- fossil,
APATITE– hexagonal crystal family, usually in the green colour, less often in yellow, blue to violet, pink or brown.
APOPHYLLITE- tetragonal crystal, colourless to pale green. typically as a cluster crystal, from cavities.

LABRADORITE: colours range within labradorite, including shades of bright blue, purple, green, red and gold. there are also colours of gray, black and brown.
Mixed Spheres– an ever changing range of spheres in different sizes and colours,
Moss Agate- green colour is embedded in the rock giving the effect of moss.
Ocean Jasper- Orbicular jasper– typically has patterns of eyes and orbs of different shapes but are usually round
Opal- ranges of colours, shapes and sizes.
Orthoceres– fossil stone.
Oyster Jasper– black and white in colour.

Sodalite– cubic crystal system, in blues and purples, has a greasy , waxy luster.
TIGER IRON- only found in WA with banded layers of hematite, Red Jasper and Tiger eye.
TIGER EYE- in yellows and browns, hexagonal crystal system
TINY TOWERS- in a variety of sizes and rocks/crystals
UNAKITE- altered granite in pink orthoclase feldspar,green epidote and generally colourless quartz.
